CPR/AED Two-Year Certification

Designed for anyone with no medical training who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting and for those who need a course completion card for their job.
No written test is required.
CPR/AED teaches:
- CPR and relief of choking in adults, children, and infants.
- The use of barrier devices for all ages.
- Includes Automatic Electronic Defibrillation (AED) certification.
BLS/CPR Two-Year Certification
Initial or Renewal
$65 Per Student
About a 3-4 Hour Class
This training reinforces heathcare professionals' understanding of early response CPR and defibrillation, basic steps of performing CPR, relieving choking, and using an AED.
Requires passing a written test.
Basic Life Support teaches:
- Adult and pediatric CPR (including two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag mask).
- Foreign-body airway obstruction.
- Includes Automatic Electronic Defibrillation (AED) certification.

The Instructor
Laura Clements has trained in Martial Arts since she was a child and has mastered several Korean Arts including Tae Kwon Do, sword, and Hapkido.
She has owned a Martial Arts school and supply store since 1999, and is now offering classes in CPR at her facility.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: "What organization is your instructor certified with?"
A: The American Red Cross.
Q: "What is the minimum age for CPR Classes?"
A: Twelve years old.
Q: "What do I receive to prove I've completed the classes?"
A: A card will be emailed to you upon completion that you can print out.
Q: "What should I wear to a class?"
A: Please wear loose fitting clothing. Remove facial piercings and lipstick. Do not wear inappropriate low cut shirts or dresses, short shorts, skirts, etc. You will be on the floor and up and down learning CPR.
Q: "What should I wear on my feet?"
A: Since classes are in a Martial Arts school, you will be asked to remove your shoes before entering the practice floor/teaching area which has carpet.
Q: "What if I've paid, but can't make it to my scheduled class? Can I reschedule?"
A: If you notify us at least 24 hours in advance of the class, we allow you to switch to any other regularly scheduled class within 60 days. We do not offer refunds for class fees.
Q: "I can't find a class time that works for me, or I want to register a large group?"
A: Please call us for assistance at (614) 263-5425.
Q: "How long will my certification last?"
A: Two Years. You will need to take a renewal class every two years to avoid a lapse in your certification.
Q: "What if I'm late to class?"
A: If you are more than 15 minutes late, you will not be permitted to take the class.
